Understanding that financial barriers often prevent students from pursuing their academic aspirations, DAH designed a wide range of scholarships to support talented, hardworking, and deserving students.

Now it’s time to take your first step toward your dreams, so keep reading, and let’s explore the scholarships offered by Dar Al-Hekma together.

Scholarships Available at Dar Al-Hekma University

Raiaa Program and Al-Elm Scholarship

These two scholarships, which cover the summer semester fees, have similar qualifications and continuity requirements. Applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 80% to be qualified for the Raiaa scholarship, which covers 20% of tuition fees. Meanwhile, the Al-Elm programs offer 30% financial aid but require a higher GPA of at least 90%.

However, you should be aware that if the scholarship is granted, the student must obtain a GPA of 3.5 out of 5 for the Raiaa scholarship and a minimum of 3.75 for the Al-Elm scholarship each semester. In case the student fails to achieve the required score, the university has the right to reduce the discount rate or, worse, withdraw the scholarship.

During their studies, students are allowed to change their major after the academic year begins; however, they must prove that this change does not extend the standard duration of their chosen bachelor’s program, which is either four or five years.

DAH Financial Aid Scholarship

Dar Al-Hekma financial aid scholarship offers a 40% tuition discount to students who demonstrate financial need and have achieved a minimum high school GPA of 95%. Just like all scholarships offered by the university, this opportunity also requires proof of English proficiency, depending on the chosen major.

Students are required to submit official documents and evidence of financial need, such as an acknowledgment letter with the family’s total income, the applicant’s or both parents’ electronic bank statement for the past twelve months, and an employer’s certificate specifying the monthly income of the applicant, parents, or guardians.

DAH Talent Scholarship

In its mission to foster a sense of community among its students, Dar Al-Hekma has designed the talent scholarship, offering a 50% discount on tuition fees. This opportunity will be granted to five talented freshmen with solid academic excellence in one of the following areas:

  • Holy Quran
  • Art
  • Culture
  • Technology and Sciences
  • Sport

Each category has specific requirements and criteria. For example, a sports scholarship requires a high school score of 85% or above, while a technology and science scholarship requires a minimum GPA of 95%.

However, there are a couple of shared standards between these categories. First, applicants must have participated in national or international events, galleries, or talent shows. Second, all applicants must be members of an official club. Additionally, all eligible applicants must undergo a personality test and interview with the scholarship committee.

Hessah Al Qubaisi Scholarship

The Hessah Al Qubaisi Scholarship is a full scholarship available each year for the fall semester for a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity. To qualify for this scholarship, you must be of Saudi nationality or have been born in Saudi Arabia. Applicants from general schools must have a minimum score of 97% or above, while students from international schools must have a score equivalent to 92% or above.

With Dar Al-Hekma’s clear vision and scholarships, education will be accessible to every talented leader out there. The question is: Are you ready to seize the opportunity and make your mark?
